Bug-A-Boo Bug Reporting Software

Bug-A-Boo is a web-based bug reporting system for Linux. It is completely open source and has been released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). It runs on any web server providing CGI functionality. Bug-A-Boo does not need any database server but brings along its own local tables it accesses with tdbengine.
This means that it is easy to set up and performs amazingly. As standard, the software features multi language support, 3 different user levels, layouts/themes, email notifications, individual display profiles for every user and it can support an almost unlimited number of users. Currently, the software is available in English or German language versions.

Bug-A-Boo can handle an almost unlimited number of projects, versions, components, users, user groups, bugs, bug criteries, bug watches, bug browsing filters etc. The tdbengine on which it is based uses complex algorithms and indexing structures that make it that fast even with a huge amount of data.

It can inform you via email every time a bug is reported that matches a component of any project you selected. It will email you when someone changes a bug you reported, you modified last or you are responsible for. Bug-A-Boo allows users to keep an eye on interesting bugs and issues they are not directly involved with. Changes are then reported immediately via email. Users can also define filters for browsing the bugs. A filter can be re-used every time it is needed.
